Bonnie and her brother Clyde were rescued along with their mother Carley when their time ran out at Animal Control. How could anyone hurt such a cute little puppy? But the truth is that it happens all too often because there are so many cute and adorable puppies. But Bonnie was one of the lucky ones and now has the perfect family where she is so loved and cared for. Thank you Bev

Ken & I took Bonnie to her Puppy Training class at Petsmart. I am embarrassed to say she is the worst behaved one in the class (which includes a female Bishon/Maltese mix, a male pitt bull & a German Shepherd). I was afraid we were going to be the first to be expelled! I was assured they would never do that. We've had 2 classes now, & she's learned to sit, lay down & walk with me on a leash. We're working on her "leave it" command. She hasn't quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I hope she does by our next class on Wed.

She now weighs in at 10.5 lbs., and is scheduled to get spayed the beginning of February. What do you hear about Clyde, Carley or Sugar, anything? I'll keep you posted, but don't look for us on David Letterman's Stupid Pet Tricks anytime soon. Talk to ya later.

Jackie & Kim-

Just thought I'd give you an update on Bonnie. She went to the vet yesterday & has gone from 2.8 lbs. to 6 lbs. Ken laughingly says I have twice the dog I adopted! She's doing well with her potty training. She almost has US trained! The puppysitter I had when we went on our trip the 2nd week I had Bonnie (she came to my house & spent the night with the girls every night we were gone) fell so in love with Bonnie that the following week she went to the Humane Society here & adopted a lab mix puppy also named Bonnie that has the same markings as my Bonnie. I saw where you have Carley now on your website. I laughed at the picture of her with her ears up. My beagle, Molly, did "ear tricks" all the time. Sometimes both ears would be up like Carley's, & sometimes one ear would be up & one would be down. I hope you find a good home for her. Please keep me posted. Talk to you later.

Just wanted to give you girls an update on Bonnie. We had our potty training class on Wed. I am still in the process of training myself with tips from the class & the dvd you included in her adoption package. She got her 2nd puppy shot today, will go for the next one in 2 weeks. I'll keep you updated on her progress. How is Clyde doing?
