Autumn
Autumn (aka Molly) was rescued from Animal Control.  She was pregnant and her puppies were due anyday.  At Animal Control, pregnant dogs are either rescued or put down.  We couldn't bear to see such a wonderful and sweet dog put down so we rescued her.  Four days later she gave birth to eight beautiful, healthy puppies (The Candy Bar Litter).  After the puppies were weaned, Autumn found a fantastic new home where she will be loved and cared for very well.

Jackie & Kim,
Attached are three photos of Molly (aka Autumn) in here new home. She is pictured with Jim and Veda Lynn (each 91 years old), with whom she lives. She is also pictured with her big sister Tux, with whom she takes a walk at least once a day. Tux lives upstairs with Dave and Veronica Campbell. Molly adjusted immediately to her new surroundings. Please let us know if/when you post Molly's pictures on the web site.  Dave

Dear Kim & Jackie -
Autumn/Molly is doing well -- my parents love her -- they let her sleep at the foot of the bed with them!  No other dog has had that honor -- it's actually really good for mom because her lack of mobility would not allow her to pet Molly as much if she didn't jump up on the bed.  Molly did "take out" the front blinds when they left her --- to my defense, I told them they had to crate her when they left, but they just couldn't believe it because Molly was so good in every other way --- but anyway, we're having the blinds replaced, and are working with some techniques to see if we can help her some with her separation anxiety thing.  Molly  walks great on the leash along with our dog at least once a day, sometime two.... they seem to actually like each other, not just tolerate one another, so that's really good.
Hope all is well for you -- thanks again for a sweet little dog.

Hi Kim & Jackie-  As soon as my mom saw Autumn, she had tears in her eyes, opened her arms and said, "There's my Molly!"  So, apparently that is her new name!  It does seem to fit her.  My parents are ecstatic, and Molly has had a great first day.  Hope she will settle in and sleep comfortably also.  Our lab mix accepted her easily, and they've explored the back yard together.  I'll give you updates.  Thanks for our sweet little girl. You do great work.
Thanks,
The Campbells
